Caroline County Health Department

The Caroline County Health Department's mission is to protect and improve the health of the people of Caroline County. The Caroline Health Department is the local division of the Maryland Department of Health. By State law, CCHD is also charged with the enforcement of certain federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Additionally, the Health Department provides a wide variety of public health services, including infectious disease monitoring and response, behavioral health treatment, chronic disease prevention, and services to those with disabilities and the elderly.
