The Talbot County Department of Economic Development and Tourism is the official tourism marketing, promotion, and development arm for Talbot County Government. Our main destinations consist of Easton, Oxford, St. Michaels, and Tilghman Island, each offering its own unique character and charm. Together, they make Talbot County a center for the arts, American history, maritime heritage, culinary endeavor, shopping, and refined lodging on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Talbot County is surrounded by more than 600 miles of Chesapeake Bay waterfront and picturesque farm land providing numerous opportunities to explore on scenic bike trails, fishing and hunting jaunts, and kayaking or sailing the Chesapeake Bay.
